#surgical technique
- Anastomosing — The act of anastomosing and its result; the surgical or biological process through which a functional connection and a direct opening are established between two tubular structures, blood vessels, lymphatic channels, or segments of the digestive tract. This high-precision surgical maneuver restores anatomical continuity and the physiological flow of fluids or organic content following a resection or occlusion.
- Arteriotomy — A surgical intervention consisting of the operative incision of an artery wall, structurally performed to allow the extraction of a thrombus (thrombectomy), the insertion of a dilation catheter, or the creation of an anastomosis. It represents a fundamental operative step executed under strict temporary hemostasis conditions.
