- Aloe succotrina — The scientific name of a historical succulent plant species in the genus Aloe, endemic to the Table Mountain area of Cape Town, South Africa; it is one of the first aloe species introduced to Europe for cultivation and is structurally recognized by its long, narrow, purplish dark-green leaves and its well-defined stem.
