#threshing floor

• Arman — A regional term or archaism used in the past in some Romanian rural communities, especially in Dobrogea or Muntenia, to designate the threshing floor where cereals were processed or the enclosed field where cattle were sheltered. Additionally, the word can refer to an administrative watchman position or function as an archaic ethnic variant related to the Aromanians (armâni), preserving deep local documentary and linguistic value.
