- Araciu — A regional phonetic variant for arac (stake/pole), encountered in certain dialects of the Romanian language (especially in western or southern zones). It denotes the slender wooden pole or rod driven into the ground to support climbing plants in the garden or grapevines. Although it is an archaic or dialectal form, it retains the exact same technical functions in the traditional rural household as the standard term.
