- Arenaria serpyllifolia — A species of annual or biennial herbaceous plant in the genus Arenaria, family Caryophyllaceae, widely distributed across Eurasia and North Africa, commonly known as thyme-leaved sandwort. The plant features thin, erect or ascending stems, ovate, sessile leaves rough to the touch, and small, discrete flowers with white petals shorter than the sepals, structurally adapted to dry, sandy, ruderal, or calcareous soils.
- Silver cinquefoil — A regional diminutive form of the noun 'argint' (silver), denoting a small silver coin or decorative piece. In popular botany, it denotes the species Potentilla argentea (silver cinquefoil) or other small herbaceous plants in the Rosaceae family whose leaves feature a brilliant silvery-white tomentose pubescence underneath, structurally adapted to dry soils and sunny slopes.
