#wingless insect

• Aphanipteran — A small, wingless parasitic insect in its adult stage, structurally adapted for jumping and hematophagous feeding (blood-sucking), belonging to the order Aphaniptera (also known scientifically as Siphonaptera), which includes fleas. Their bodies are laterally flattened, protected by a rigid chitinous exoskeleton, and equipped with highly developed hind legs designed for executing expansive leaps onto host organisms.
• Apterygote — An insect belonging to the subclass Apterygota, characterized by the primitive absence of wings throughout the entire evolutionary history of the group; a small arthropod organism with direct development, lacking complex metamorphosis, typically living in soil, leaf litter, or humid environments.
• Aribi — A rare or regional taxonomic term used in old entomology or specialized papers to denote a specific group of insects or organisms presenting distinct structural features related to the absence of wings or the conformation of their mouthparts. In medical or biological lexicography, it can also appear as a derived form from a neologistic root indicating the absence or functional reduction of paired anatomical elements.
