#yellow anemone

• Yellow anemone — A popular Romanian name given to an herbaceous plant in the buttercup family (Anemone ranunculoides), characterized by solitary, golden-yellow flowers blooming early in spring within deciduous forests; a small plant with a creeping rhizome whose leaves vaguely resemble chervil, hence the diminutive derivation of its common name.
