Definition
A form of psychosis or severe mental disorder characterized by the profound alteration of the perception of external reality and the surrounding world; a condition where delusions and hallucinations are projected exclusively onto external objects, events, or individuals, while the consciousness of one's own physical and bodily identity (autopsychic) remains relatively intact.
