Anemomorphy
Definition
A morphological modification, shape anomaly, or structural adaptation acquired by a plant organism (or a geological body) under the direct, intense, and asymmetric influence of dominant winds. In botany, this phenomenon leads to asymmetric tree canopies known as flag trees.
