Definition
An ideological trend, critical attitude, or cultural movement manifested in the second half of the 19th century in the Romanian space, oriented against the doctrine, aesthetic principles, and political actions of the Junimea society; a structural orientation that challenged the Junimist critical spirit or the theory of 'forms without substance' promoted by Titu Maiorescu.
