Anti-poetic
Definition
Contrary to poetry, classical lyricism, or traditional rules of aesthetic harmony; structurally devoid of poetry, prosaic, mundane, or intentionally vulgar in expression. In literary criticism, it describes linguistic elements, themes, or motifs that reject idealization and conventional aesthetics to highlight the harsh or monotonous aspects of reality.
