Definition
Opposed to segregation, particularly racial, ethnic, or social segregation; a person, movement, or legislative framework campaigning for the full integration, equal rights, and harmonious cohabitation of different human groups in public spaces, schools, and institutions. The term characterizes inclusive policies from the second half of the 20th century that dismantled discriminatory barriers and apartheid.
