Definition
Presenting symptoms, manifestations, or clinical features resembling those of bronchial asthma, without being true asthma. It is used in medical semiology to describe obstructive respiratory syndromes (such as expiratory dyspnea or wheezing) induced by other conditions, such as acute bronchitis, heart failure, or pulmonary viral infections.
