Glossary of Industrial Engineering and Urban Logistics
- Space occupancy — The state of overcrowding, blocking, or excessive occupancy of a space, a communication route, or a data channel by a large volume of physical elements or information flows. In an architectural and logistical sense, it represents the total physical space that an object, piece of equipment, or structure occupies within a given perimeter, often creating obstacles to fluid circulation or operational processes.
- Architected — Designed, built, structured, or organized in a logical, coherent, and well-defined manner, according to an architectural or systematic plan. Broadly, the term describes a system (software, literary text, business plan, edifice) whose component elements are harmoniously combined to ensure the overall stability, functionality, and efficiency.
- Moon-landable — Capable of undergoing a moon-landing process; a term used to describe a spacecraft structurally designed to withstand impact with the lunar ground or a topographic region that allows the safe execution of a descent maneuver.
