#amenoree
- Amenorrhea — The pathological or physiological absence of the menstrual cycle for a period of at least three consecutive months. This structural dysfunction of the female reproductive system can be primary, when menarche does not occur by the age of 15-16, or secondary, triggered later by hormonal, metabolic, psychological causes, or external factors such as severe stress or extreme physical exertion.
- Misspelled amenorrhea — An incorrect and non-recommended spelling variant of the medical term 'amenoree'. It frequently appears in common speech or unedited texts due to the erroneous insertion of the semivowel 'i' before the final vowel, while the correct structure according to current academic standards (DOOM) is exclusively 'amenoree'.
- Anovaria — A rare pathological condition or congenital anomaly characterized by the complete structural absence or total underdevelopment of both ovaries in an individual with a female phenotype. This severe anomaly of the reproductive system causes a drastic deficiency of sex hormones (estrogens and progesterone), leading to immediate clinical effects such as primary amenorrhea, failure to achieve puberty, and definitive sterility, requiring endocrine replacement therapy.
