#biological evolution
- Adaptation — The act of adapting and its result; the process through which a living organism or social group becomes compatible with its external environment or with new existential demands. In arts and cinematography, it represents the structural modification and reconfiguration of a work (such as turning a novel into a movie script), while preserving the essence of the original work.
- Anthropobiology — An interdisciplinary branch of biological and anthropological sciences dealing with the study of man as a biological entity, analyzing anatomical evolution, genetic variations, physiological adaptability to different environments, heredity, and biological correlations between human races and populations in historical and ecological contexts.
- Anthropogenesis — The long and complex historical and biological process of the emergence, formation, and development of the human species, starting from the first hominid primates up to modern man (Homo sapiens). This scientific discipline studies the laws of human emergence, the correlations between biological (hominization) and socio-cultural (humanization) evolution, drawing on paleoanthropological, archaeological, and genetic evidence.
