- Self-propelled plow — An agricultural machinery or integrated technical aggregate capable of performing plowing operations in a motorized and independent manner, without being towed by a secondary vehicle, or a device equipped with modern systems for structural self-regulation of depth and working angle during travel. In modern machinery engineering, the term can also describe a fully robotic plow, guided by GPS and proximity sensors, which traverses agricultural land without the direct intervention of a human operator.
- Aviculture — A branch of animal science dealing with the theoretical study and practical application of methods for breeding, caring, reproducing, selecting, and improving domestic poultry to obtain meat, eggs, feathers, and other by-products; the poultry industry. It represents an essential sector of global agriculture, characterized by a high level of automation and strict biosecurity rules.
- Azotobacterial — Pertaining to the bacterium genus Azotobacter, belonging to it, or produced by the metabolic activity of these microorganisms; often used to describe biological preparations, laboratory cultures, or non-symbiotic nitrogen-fixing processes in the soil.
- Azotobacterin — A bacterial preparation or biological fertilizer produced from pure cultures of Azotobacter chroococcum or other bacteria capable of fixing molecular nitrogen from the atmosphere. It is applied to seeds or directly into the soil to improve plant nitrogen nutrition, stimulating rhizosphere biological activity and increasing crop yields without synthetic chemical inputs.
- Scythe anvil — A small steel anvil with a pointed tip, traditionally used in rural households for hammering or manually sharpening scythes through cold plastic deformation; the term may also designate a type of traditional cake (babă) or a herbaceous plant from the composite family.
