#fertility deity
- Anahita — An ancient Persian divinity of cosmic waters, fertility, healing, and wisdom, structurally venerated in Zoroastrianism and throughout the Achaemenid Empire. Fully known as Ardvi Sura Anahita (meaning 'Moist, Mighty, and Immaculate'), she is portrayed in the sacred Avesta texts as a noble maiden clad in a golden cloak, representing a universal symbol of purity, life-giving force, and divine protection.
- Atargatis — The great goddess of Northern Arabia and Syria in antiquity, a divinity of fertility, the earth, and water, primarily worshipped at Hierapolis. Often represented with the body of a woman and the tail of a fish (associated with the earliest mermaid legends) or surrounded by lions, Atargatis embodied the generative power of nature and protection of human communities in the Near East, later assimilated by the Greeks as Dea Syria.
