#hormonal imbalance
- Amenorrhea — The pathological or physiological absence of the menstrual cycle for a period of at least three consecutive months. This structural dysfunction of the female reproductive system can be primary, when menarche does not occur by the age of 15-16, or secondary, triggered later by hormonal, metabolic, psychological causes, or external factors such as severe stress or extreme physical exertion.
- Andromastia — An extremely rare anatomical or medical condition characterized by the abnormal development or hypertrophy of mammary glands in male individuals, sometimes used as a historical or correlated terminological variant for gynecomastia, or to describe a mammary structure with sharp masculine somatic traits.
- Anisomenorrhea — A menstrual cycle disorder characterized by marked irregularity in the intervals between periods, often associated with unpredictable variations in duration and hemorrhagic flow. This clinical phenomenon is caused by endocrine imbalances, dysfunctions of the hypothalamo-pituitary axis, or structural ovarian diseases, requiring gynecological monitoring to exclude systemic pathologies.
