- Bacovia — The literary pseudonym of George Vasiliu (1881–1957), one of the most prominent Romanian poets, a major representative of local symbolism and a precursor of modernism. His work, remarkable for its structural atmosphere of lead, neurosis, monotony, and urban confinement, redefined Romanian poetic sensibility by utilizing obsessive colors (black, violet, gray) and recurrent motifs such as depressing rain, the vault, and biological decline.
- Bacovianism — A literary movement, aesthetic formula, doctrine, or stylistic manner based on the work and poetic vision of George Bacovia. In the history of Romanian literature, the term denotes both the absolute originality of his thematic universe and the tendency of later or epigonic poets to structurally imitate the leaden atmosphere, states of neurosis, confinement, and depressing color schemes specific to Bacovia's work.
- Bagryana — A proper surname of Slavic origin, globally famous for the prominent Bulgarian poet Elisaveta Bagryana (1893–1991), a key figure in European modernist literature, acting as an invariable cultural and onomastic marker.
