- Alveolus — A small cavity or natural hollow located within an animal or plant organ or tissue. In pulmonary anatomy, it represents the microscopic terminal sac of the airways where gas exchange occurs; in dentistry, it denotes the socket in the jawbones where the tooth root is anchored. By extension, in technology, it defines each of the cells in a package or an alveolar material.
- To pack — To wrap, pack, or put an object or product into a protective covering (paper, box, foil) for transport, preservation, or sale. In mechanics, it means to race or suddenly increase an engine's speed beyond normal limits. Reflexively, it means to get overly excited or worked up.
- Packaging — A covering or container made of various materials (cardboard, plastic, glass, metal) designed to protect, preserve, transport, and present a product or commodity from the manufacturer to the final consumer. In modern design and marketing, it represents an essential pillar of brand identity.
- Packaging — The act of packing, wrapping, or packaging and its result; a technological, manual, or automated process of placing and sealing products into appropriate containers to ensure safe transport. In mechanics, it defines the sudden racing or over-speeding of an engine.
- To bottle — To pour a beverage (wine, mineral water, beer) into bottles or flasks within an automated industrial process; to bottle. Also, in a secondary or figurative sense derived from traffic jargon, the term can mean to block or congest the movement of vehicles on a roadway, creating a traffic jam.
- Bottling — The act of bottling and its result; the industrial or technological process of pouring, storing, and sealing liquids or gases (wine, water, juices, fuels) into bottles, flasks, or special vials. This final step in the manufacturing line is fully automated to ensure hygiene standards, precise volumetric control, and optimal preservation of the packaged product's properties.
- Gas lighter — A mechanism, portable device, or chemical substance specifically used for igniting a fire, a gas stove burner, or a combustible material (for example, a piezoelectric lighter or a flammable tablet). As an adjective, it represents the feminine singular or plural form of the word 'aprinzător', describing an entity, ray, or mechanical part possessing the structural property of triggering combustion or illumination.
- Aseptic — Pertaining to asepsis, relating to asepsis; characterized by the total absence of pathogenic germs, live microbes, or bacteria. It is applied to an environment, a surgical instrument, a dressing, or an industrial process (such as bottling) performed under perfect sterile conditions to prevent fermentation, spoilage, or infection.
- Self-adhesive — Possessing a surface coated with a special sticky substance (adhesive), capable of tightly fixing itself by simple pressure or contact onto another substrate (paper, plastic, wall) without requiring prior moistening or the application of an external glue layer.
- Autosterile — Possessing the property to maintain sterility or autonomously destroy microorganisms, bacteria, or viruses that come into contact with its surface, without requiring the subsequent application of chemical disinfectants or external heat treatments. It is used in medical technology to describe specialized packaging, treated surgical instruments, or smart synthetic materials with intrinsic antimicrobial action.
