#peripheral nerves
- Acroesthesia — An abnormal and pathological increase in tactile, thermal, or painful sensitivity localized exclusively within the body's extremities, manifesting as exaggerated sensations triggered by minor stimuli.
- Acroneurosis — A general clinical term designating a group of functional neurological disorders, vasomotor and trophic in nature, localized exclusively within the extremities of the body (hands and feet). This structural neuromuscular manifestation includes syndromes such as Raynaud's disease, acrocyanosis, or erythromelalgia, characterized by crises of pallor, cyanosis, intense pain, paresthesias, and local changes in skin temperature, without an initial destructive organic lesion of the vessels.
- Acrotrophoneurosis — A complex functional and neurovegetative neurological disorder characterized by severe trophic, dystrophic, and vasomotor disturbances localized exclusively within the distal extremities of the body (hands and feet). This structural process alters normal tissue nutrition through the dysfunction of perivascular sympathetic nerve fibers, clinically manifesting as chronic edema, persistent cyanosis (acrocyanosis), skin thinning, keratinization disorders, and altered sensitivity to thermal factors.
