- Hearing — The act of hearing and its result; the perception of sound waves by the auditory organ or the process through which information or a rumor comes to a person's knowledge; the sense of hearing viewed in its dynamic manifestation.
- Female listener — A female person who hears or listens to a speech, a broadcast, or an acoustic signal; as an adjective, it describes a living being or biological structure capable of perceiving sound vibrations from the surrounding environment.
